Youth Wrestling in South Carolina

Irmo KingPins Youth Wrestling Camp: July 22-26th from 1-5 pm at Seven Oaks

In association with the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission, the Irmo Youth Wrestling Club – KingPins, will host a Youth Wrestling Camp at the Seven Oaks Gymnasium Facility on Monday, July 22nd and will run daily from 1 pm to 5 pm throughout the week and ending on Friday, July 26th.

The wrestling camp is designed for both boys and girls from ages 4-17 and for all skill levels with beginners especially welcomed. Coaches will teach according to skill level and there will be a lot of personal one on one training and interaction for beginners.

The Irmo Youth Wrestling Camp is hosted by the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission and will be a structured wrestling camp featuring Folkstyle (high school style) and Freestyle training and wrestling techniques camp led by local high school and middle school wrestling coaches and former college wrestlers. Participants will be guided to further their wrestling ambitions in local wrestling leagues and tournaments with the ultimate goal of preparing them for competition in the South Carolina High School League as middle school and high school wrestlers.

The cost of the Camp is only $130 for 5 days of instruction from 1 pm to 5 pm Monday thru Friday, July 22-26th, in the Gymnasium of the Seven Oaks Recreation Center. Walk ups are welcomed and single day or multi day participation is allowed for those unable to attend all 5 days of Camp.

T-shirts will be given to all paid participants both single day and multi day wrestlers.

Wrestlers are asked to bring a snack, water, towel or extra t-shirt and running shoes. Wrestling shoes are not required but encouraged.
